Had to visit Kumbakonam for a business need on a Sunday. Google search gave many results but this hotel stood strong wrt reviews, so with family came here. It is a very well managed restaurant. Courteous staff, tasty food, excellent portions (great value for the amount). They also served complimentary lip smacking sweet and soup (chicken).
It’s the biggest review I have written for any restaurant. Overall experience- 5 star Anyone visiting Kumbakonam… This place is a must visit for having a great meal. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

I had stayed at Imperial Hotel twice this time during my visits to Kumbakonam. Excellent clean rooms. Service and breakfast was top notch. Pugazh and Vijay were the best at their service . Pugazh went beyond the call of duty to pick me up at 11:30 pm when I was stuck at a nearby place without any commutation to the hotel. Rama Murthy does good at managing the dining .Overall a good experience!

Food good but taste can be better, some thing is missing , pulao is two sweet, food service was bad waited for gravies and bread took ages to come , came after biriyani was served. We cancelled few dishes too. Amazing restaurant at kumbakonam have lot scope to improve in service. Since team is young and new may be little kiosk . But ambiance is great.

The ambience at indian imperial Restaurant is cozy, perfect for a casual night. The service was friendly, making the experience even better.
I had the coconut crusted prawn and it was absolutely delicious, with just the right balance of flavor. The dessert was a great end to the dinner.

Amazing food, super taste.
The mutton started was so soft n juicy that they melted in our mouth. Afghan chicken was ok. Mutton Biryani was great along with Chicken Chettinadu.

It was a pleasant stay at the hotel. We stayed for two days with our family. Rooms were clean and neat. Room service was good. The Hotel is located at center of the town itself. Important notice “ Alcohol not allowed” Which is very good.
And the manager Ms. Lavanaya was helpful, Thank you.

Had a good food. Biryani was rich in taste. And should mention their hospitality. Completely satisfied. Bamboo biryani and Pot biryani must try. In starter butter madras chicken fry was too good. They also have rooms. Which are super clean.
